Things are going to be very difficult for President Obama because once again the Republicans have taken control of the Congress while a Democrat lives in the White House.
Republicans are expected to shut down the federal government to force Obama to accept their demands. They also want Obama not to be re-elected.
Nowadays, Rajoy and his political party are trying to do the same thing in Spain: instead of cooperating with the central government to minimize the effects of the credit crunch or give any good ideas,they just only criticize the government´s measures.
